About the owners
Jonathan and Shelley Lazo are husband and wife who share a passion for horses. Combined, they have 30 years experience with horses. They currently own 3 horses of their own in Hinckley, Ohio.
Jonathan first started riding at the age of 7. And has owned his own horses since 1999. He attended Lake Erie College and was enrolled in the equestrian studies program. He has worked at several other equestrian facilities and has experience with many types of horses, both on the ground and in the saddle. He is also currently a certified EMT-Basic working for an ambulance company.
He is the primary driver of the trucks and trailer with Centaur Horse Transportation.
Shelley first started riding at the age of 14, and has owned horses since 2003.
She has been certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy through the Equissage Program for 6 years.
She also attended Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center in WV, Where she received a Riding Masters III certificate in dressage and a teaching certificate. She also took courses in training, showing, horse health, and farrier. Attending this school gave Shelley a lot of experience with horses of many different temperaments both on the ground and in the saddle. Shelley currently works for a small animal veterinary office. She assists Jonathan with loading the horses and rides along to help with the transports.
